Knock Off: Weapons

Since we are making a third-person shooter, an arsenal of enjoyable weapons is key. As mentioned previously, we have decided against a traditional health and damage system. Instead, players are defeated when knocked off of platforms into specific zones such as bodies of water. We did this to reduce the amount of violence in the game, making it more light-hearted and accessible to a wider audience. Due to this, we cannot include common shooter weapon archetypes such as shotguns and rifles, and must be more creative with our weapon designs. To this end, I have come up with a few preliminary weapon ideas which I think will each provide some fun gameplay due to their interactions with the game's mobility and physics systems. Here are my first few weapon ideas:

I have continued to experiment with Midjourney AI and have used it to produce some artwork depicting a character in the sort of art-style we are aiming for wielding our primary weapon, the Rocket Launcher:
