A major component of this assignment is producing a high quality game design document. This needs to contain all the information about every part of the game I have designed. Although I did, of course, create an initial design document, my ideas have changed greatly through the development of my prototype and I have produced various other pieces of documentation, meaning my initial design document would be insufficient to explain the game in full. In theory, that initial document could have been constantly updated with every new decision that was made, but since this is a solo project and the documents were only being looked at by me, that would not have been a good use of my time. Instead, to allow for faster access to any given piece of information, I prefer to use a system involving various documents spread across a number of clearly labelled folders. To produce this final game design document, it was simply a matter of collating all of the information from each of my other documents into one place.
