Masters Final Project: The Proposal

As I am nearing the end of my game design master's course, it has come time to begin my final project. This project is worth the equivilent of two regular modules and will run from now until September. There was the option to do this as a group but I wanted to go it alone with this one as I think it will benefit from a singular creative vision and because I really want to push my skills to the limit and learn as much as I can over the process. To lay out our plans for this project everyone was tasked with writing a 10-15 page proposal which explains our aims, objectives, methodology, and deliverables, lists what software we will be using and contains a state of the art review showing our research into our area of interest. I will be creating an isometric hack and slash RPG in the vein of Diablo and Path of Exile with the USP being that every element of the game with be procedurally generated to the furthest possible extent, maximising gameplay variety.
