YOUNG DRAGON

A mobile, melee range assassin whole can deliver damage swiftly to multiple enemies by striking them with abilities scaling off of attack speed. This apprentice to Lee Sin rushes into combat with flying kicks just like her master, but then focuses on bursting down groups of foes rather than using utility to isolate one.

Relentless Strikes

Passive

Your abilities' cooldowns are reduced by your attack speed. Abilities cost a resource called energy to use. This resource is limited but recharges rapidly.

 

Notes: This simple passive ensures the player focuses on improving their attack speed, ensuring the fast-paced weaving of basic attacks and abilities.

One Thousand Fists

Q

Deliver a series of rapid punches, dealing moderate damage over a short duration to all enemies in a cone in front of you. Attack speed reduces how long it takes to deliver the damage. Hitting an enemy champion with all the strikes grants you a charge of Soaring Kick. 

 

Notes: This bread and butter damaging ability embodies the intended playstyle of the character as although it is simple, it rewards effective usage by granting a charge of Monkey Kick. Attack speed reducing the ability's cast time doubles down on the idea that buying attack speed with increase the pace at which the character plays, allowing them to deliver their combo of abilities more quickly.

Spear Hand Strike

W

Hit an enemy within melee range in a weak spot, stunning them briefly and dealing moderate damage. Once an enemy is hit with this they cannot be targeted by it again for a short while.

 

Notes: This allows the champion to lock a character down while they attempt to assassinate them, preventing them from retreating. As cooldowns will become extremely short with enough attack speed, the temporary immunity enemies get after being hit with this is needed to prevent you permanently stunning a target. This does mean however that you are able to jump into a group of enemies and stun each of them quite quickly. This ability is also intended to be used in combination with the Q to guarantee all hit from he Q land, granting the charge of Soaring Kick. In this way all three abilities interact.

Soaring Kick

E

Store up to 3 charges of this at a time. Activate to consume a charge and dash a short distance in the target direction, hitting all enemies passed through for moderate damage. Attack speed increases how quickly you dash.

 

Notes: This charge-based mobility option which can regain charges through good use of Q means that with enough attack speed reducing the cooldown and increasing the travel speed this character will be franticly zooming around a fight evading attacks and sticking to their targets.

Forbidden Technique

R

Deliver a powerful strike to an enemy in melee range that deals moderate physical damage scaling with your AD, knocks them back a moderate distance and marks them. After a few seconds the mark will detonate, doing a moderate physical damage scaling with your AD their missing health to them and all enemies near them.  Killing an enemy with this charges your energy bar and grants you 3 stacks of monkey kick. 

 

Notes: This ability is reminiscent of Lee Sin's ult except with less of a focus on single target displacement and CC and more of a focus on multi-target damage.
