School of Mana Wizard
Mana Wizards cast spells by concentrating weave into an energy source called mana. Through this, they do away with traditional spell slots and instead just expend mana to unleash a greater quantity of spells than other wizards.
Class Features
Mana Pool
Starting you adopt this tradition at 2nd level, the wizard loses all spell slots. These spell slots are converted into Mana points. The wizard’s maximum mana is equal to the combined level of the spell slots converted. Meaning a level 1 slot will grant 1 maximum mana, a level 2 slot will grant 2 maximum mana etc. The Wizard’s current number of mana points is also set to be equal to their maximum mana at this time. The wizard can never have more mana points than their maximum mana total.

When casting spells, the wizard now expends mana points equal to the level of the spell. For example, 1st level spells cost 1 mana, 2nd level spells cost 2 etc. From now on, when the wizard would gain spell slots, they instead increase their maximum mana by the level of the spell slots. If they would gain a 1st level slot, they gain 1 maximum mana, if they would gain a 2nd level slot, they gain 2 maximum mana.

The wizard regains mana points equal to the maximum mana after completing a long rest.

When upcasting spells, they are cast at a level equal to the amount of mana spent on them. For example, a 1st level spell may be upcast as a 2nd level spell at the cost of 2 mana.
Notes:
Mana Regeneration
Starting at 6th level, the wizard regains mana equal to half of their maximum, every short rest and regain all their mana points upon leveling up.
Notes:
Mana Charge
Starting at 10th level twice per long rest, the wizard can take an action to regain 1d4 mana.
Notes:
Mana Surge
Starting at 16th level, once per long rest, the wizard can take an action to flood themselves with limitless mana, making the next 3 spells they cast cost no mana, action or bonus action.
